Primal’s Description: The Primal Pet Foods treat line was created for dogs and cats with the goal of providing wholesome, human-grade snacks containing no preservatives, gluten or grain. All Primal Treats are produced using USDA meats, poultry and game raised in the United States or New Zealand without antibiotics or added hormones.
Our treats are available in a variety of different cooking styles, as well as protein sources including Beef, Buffalo, Chicken, Pork, Turkey and Venison. Primal Treats are produced using low-temperature, slow cooking techniques such as freeze-drying and slow roasting, yielding high-density nutrition in a shelf-stable snack product.
All Primal Treats are single source proteins and offer a healthy choice for all pets, especially those with food allergies. We recommend our treats to be used as a snack alternative, as well as for training and obedience rewards.

Let’s put it to the ultimate test…
Dog Breed: Chocolate Lab | Name: Goose | Type of Chewer: Powerful+
Primal Liver Munchies Product Review: Dehydrated meat treats are sort of the holy grail in our household, there’s a definite difference in Goose’s demeanour when you take out a meat treat vs a biscuit treat. These treats are great because they are easy to crumble and break apart which is great for us as we constantly have treats in our pockets for training and sometimes with a stubborn Lab, a little liver is all your need to get them to listen. These treats aren’t as strong smelling as other liver treats which is nice because as stated previously we do keep them in our coat pockets. Definitely worth checking out.
