Tether Tug Review: First off we want to say a huge thank you to Matt at Tether Tug – we really appreciate you sending us a Tether Tug to review, and boy oh boy did Goose ever get a kick out of this. This toy is amazing. I was a bit skeptical at first of how it would hold up as Goose is quite aggressive when he plays tug, I figured this would just pop right out of the ground, but it was totally awesome. Since the base is close to 12 inches in the ground, this toy is extremely sturdy and no matter how hard he tried he couldn’t pull the toy out of the base. This toy is great because it has the give and take effect of a human playing along but Goose could play by himself outside and be challenged by it. We were lucky enough to get two attachments. Goose likes tug ropes but is a way bigger fan of tennis balls, which the second attachment was. He was interested in the rope attachment but as soon as I added the rope with the tennis ball on the end it was game over – he wasn’t stopping until he got the ball. I was very impressed with this toy – very well made, great quality, and works perfectly. Saves my two torn rotator cuffs from further injury and keeps Goose entertained 🙂 Check them out, if you’ve got a dog that loves to tug, THEY NEED THIS TOY.
Tether Tug Toy Description: Dogs, like us, need daily exercise in order to stay fit and healthy both mentally and physically. Enough exercise to tire your dog out is a very good thing. Regular daily exercise will vastly improve your dog’s mental health and his disposition. It will also help to reduce some of the negative behaviors done merely out of boredom and anxiety. The Large Tether Tug is the answer to the dilemma of how to get your dog more exercise and save your pitching arm at the same time. With its base that tamps down into the ground, its flexible pole that fits securely into the base, and its knotted rope, your dog will not even miss your being on the other end of the tug-of-war as he cavorts all around your yard shaking and growling at the knotted rope.
