Our Product Review: We’ve been a big fan of Treats Happen since we tried our first product in April of 2016. Since then we’ve tried countless products ranging from treats to chews to paw salve. We were really excited to hear that they did a complete rebranding and changed their product packaging. As a designer myself, anytime a company moves toward a more approachable design and style, I’m all in. We’re going to break down this review into the quality of the treats and the quality of the rebrand/packaging. First let’s tackle the rebranding. Treats Happen now have sleek, stand-off-the-shelf style packaging. They’ve kept their awesome black base but now you can easily tell which product is in each bag. Simple, minimal, clean. Everything I look for in design. Now the treats. Treats Happen focus on single ingredient clean protein treats that are easily digestible, hypoallergenic, great for training, and come in two convenient sizes (minis + mightys). I’m quite picky on what I feed Goose due to seasonal allergies and his overall well-being, but knowing that all these treats are Canadian made and locally sourced makes me feel great while Goose feels even better. His butt hits the floor so hard any of these bags come out. He especially loves the 100% Alaskan Cod Skins. Happy to see a company continue to grow while never compromising on quality. Big thank you to Treats Happen for sending these product our way to review.
